Our job today is pretty simple. We have to remove a fallen tree. This one isn’t that big in terms of size, so it won’t take long to remove. The first step is to take out the chainsaw. After all, trying to load the whole tree onto our truck in one piece would be like trying to pick up a boulder with a spoon! It’s much more efficient to cut the tree up into manageable pieces with our chainsaw, so that’s what we do. We target the tree at the split point of every branch. So every place a branch branches into two smaller branches, we cut. This method splits the tree into a set of smaller logs that we can pick up with our mini skid steer. One by one we take the logs off the ground and place them into our truck bed. The tree doesn’t seem that big in the video, but once all the logs are off the ground, our truck bed is packed full!

Finally, we rake up the fallen leaves that were trapped under the tree. If you watch the video you’ll see the massive difference that removing just one fallen tree makes on the aesthetic of the customer’s lawn. Remember, it doesn’t take lots of work to make your backyard look great again! Even small things like a fallen tree removal or some brush cutting can make your yard pristine.
