We get lots of calls for brush pile removal. Ideally when we come for pickup the pile should be in the driveway ready for transport, but if there’s 4-5 feet wide access from outside the property to where the pile is, then we can do the pickup from anywhere in your yard!
What we do to move the pile to our truck is bite into the pile with our grapple and take out a portion. Then we compress it by squeezing the grapple closed. Finally, we trim off the ends of the branches with a chainsaw so the compressed foliage fits in our truck and deposit it. Rinse and repeat a few times and we’ve successfully transported all the foliage into our truck for hauling. If you watch the video you’ll see that with compressing, the initial daunting bundle of branches reduces to quite a compact size in our truck bed. And that’s how we haul brush piles!
