Playground Demolition and Haul Away by Schott
This playground was designed to last, but it can’t stand up to Schott Services! In this video, we showcase the demolition of a wooden playground. Our services include the removal of not only wooden playgrounds, but also metal playsets, commercial equipment, outdoor structures like barns, and more. With over 20 years of experience, demolition and structure removal is a breeze for us. If you’re interested, send pictures to John Schott at 317-784-8760 or HappyDumpTruck@gmail.com. We can often provide you with a cost estimate without even visiting the site, saving you time and money. While homeowners can tackle this work themselves, it's safer to let our equipment handle the demolition, loading, and hauling.
Swing sets are great until they aren’t usable anymore or just not needed. If your kids are all grown up and you want to regain some of your backyard, this video is for you! In it, you can see that we use a chainsaw to disassemble the set. First we cut off the swing set, then the ladders, and then the slide. After that we continue the demolition, and you can get a good idea of what this sort of work looks like since the video is recorded in first person and without editing. We topple the playground onto its side to make it easier to work on and continue sawing off the wooden beams. When we’re done demolishing, the playground is just a pile of wood, which is a good thing, since wood is much easier to haul than a complete playground!
We pick up each piece of wood and carry it to our truck for hauling. With some strategic placement we can fit all the individual planks, beams, and plastic in the truck even though it’s already full of our equipment. The last part we take is the slide itself, which we have to put in a separate truck bed because it’s so massive it can’t fit inside the one with all the other parts. And that’s how we demolish a playground! Call/text 317-784-8760 or email HappyDumpTruck@gmail.com to reclaim your yard asap!
